Mansai Nomura-san’s ema at Seimei Shrine– I just realised I have a photo of it!!!
I went to Seimei Shrine in Kyoto this July and took many photos, including photos of Yuzu’s ema (prayer tablet). I just realised
that Nomura-san’s ema is in my photos too!!! I
cropped the above photo so that we can see it better. (pic below) Yuzu’s ema is at the top
left of the photo and Nomura-san’s ema is at the bottom row, 2nd from right.
Nomura-san’s wish on the ema was for the movie ‘Onmyouji’ to be a success. The date is “Heisei year 13, March 15th”. That is 2001, the year that the movie was released. Yuzu’s ema was written this year, Heisei 27.
AND on the left of Nomura-san’s ema, partially covered by it, is
Hideaki Ito’s ema. He is the actor who played Hiromasa in the movie!! His wish was for the movie to be a big hit. Oh how I love Seimei and
Hiromasa’s bromance in the 2 movies!!! I am so happy and excited to see
their ema in my photo!!! Below is an even closer-up pic. ^^
